Häufige Fragen

Wie nehme ich auf und transkribiere?

Öffne den Tab „Aufnahme", wähle ein Whisper-Modell und die Sprache, und tippe auf den Aufnahme-Knopf. Die Transkription läuft live und vollständig auf deinem Gerät.

Kann ich vorhandene Audiodateien transkribieren?

Ja. Importiere Dateien über die Bibliothek, aus der Dateien-App, von Sprachmemos, per AirDrop oder über das Teilen-Menü anderer Apps (Share Extension).

Es ist „kein Modell geladen" — was tun?

Lade in den Einstellungen → Modelle (oder beim ersten Start im Onboarding) ein Whisper-Modell herunter. Das kleinste Modell („Tiny") ist ~80 MB. Der Download läuft einmalig über HTTPS zu huggingface.co; danach funktioniert die App offline.

Die KI-Aktionen sind ausgegraut oder zeigen „nicht verfügbar".

Die KI-Nachbearbeitung (Zusammenfassen, Protokollieren, Übersetzen u. a.) nutzt Apple Foundation Models und benötigt ein Gerät mit Apple Intelligence (iPhone 15 Pro oder neuer, iPad mit M-Chip). Aktiviere Apple Intelligence unter Einstellungen → Apple Intelligence & Siri. Die reine Transkription funktioniert auf allen unterstützten Geräten.

Kann ich eigene KI-Aktionen anlegen?

Ja. Unter Einstellungen → KI → Eigene KI-Aktionen legst du eine Aktion aus Name und freier Anweisung an. Sie erscheint danach als Karte in der Aktionsleiste jedes Transkripts und läuft über dasselbe On-Device-Modell wie die eingebauten Aktionen.

Die Aufnahme klingt zu leise oder das Transkript ist leer.

Stelle sicher, dass WhisperMobile in den iOS-Einstellungen → Datenschutz → Mikrofon Zugriff hat, und sprich in normaler Lautstärke. Bei Stille oder sehr leisem Signal wird kein Transkript gespeichert.

Wo werden meine Daten gespeichert? Wie lösche ich sie?

Alle Aufnahmen und Transkripte bleiben lokal auf deinem Gerät. Einzelne Transkripte löschst du in der Bibliothek (Wischen), Modelle in der Modell-Verwaltung. Beim Deinstallieren der App entfernt iOS automatisch alle App-Daten. Details in der Datenschutzerklärung.

Gibt es eine Control-Center-Integration?

Ja. WhisperMobile stellt ein „Aufnahme starten"-Bedienelement für das Control Center bereit, das die App öffnet und direkt eine neue Aufnahme startet.

In welchen Formaten kann ich exportieren?

Über den Teilen-Knopf im Transkript wählst du zwischen PDF und Markdown. Das PDF ist ein paginiertes A4-Dokument mit Titel, Metadaten, KI-Zusammenfassung (falls vorhanden) und Zeitstempeln pro Abschnitt.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I record and transcribe?

Open the Record tab, pick a Whisper model and language, and tap the record button. Transcription runs live and entirely on your device.

Can I transcribe existing audio files?

Yes. Import files from the Library, the Files app, Voice Memos, AirDrop, or via the share sheet of other apps (Share Extension).

It says "no model loaded" — what do I do?

Download a Whisper model in Settings → Models (or during first-launch onboarding). The smallest model ("Tiny") is ~80 MB. The download is a one-time HTTPS request to huggingface.co; the app works offline afterwards.

The AI actions are greyed out or show "unavailable".

AI post-processing (summarize, minutes, translate, and more) uses Apple Foundation Models and requires an Apple Intelligence device (iPhone 15 Pro or newer, iPad with M-series chip). Enable Apple Intelligence under Settings → Apple Intelligence & Siri. Transcription itself works on all supported devices.

Can I define my own AI actions?

Yes. Under Settings → AI → Custom AI Actions you create an action from a name and free-text instructions. It then appears as a card in every transcript's actions row and runs through the same on-device model as the built-in actions.

The recording is too quiet or the transcript is empty.

Make sure WhisperMobile has microphone access under iOS Settings → Privacy → Microphone, and speak at a normal volume. On silence or a very quiet signal, no transcript is saved.

Where is my data stored? How do I delete it?

All recordings and transcripts stay local on your device. Delete individual transcripts in the Library (swipe), models in Model Management. Uninstalling the app makes iOS remove all app data automatically. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Is there a Control Center integration?

Yes. WhisperMobile provides a "Start recording" control for Control Center that opens the app and starts a new recording directly.

Which export formats are available?

The share button in a transcript offers PDF and Markdown. The PDF is a paginated A4 document with title, metadata, the AI summary (when present) and per-segment timestamps.
