Frequently asked questions

Which rules does Skatwerk play by?

The International Skat Order (ISkO) in the current edition of the International Skat Court. Skatwerk simplifies no rule and invents none.

Do I need an account?

No. Solo games run entirely on your device. For online games you sign in to Apple's Game Center – there is no Skatwerk account.

Online games: no opponent is found.

Check that you are signed in to Game Center (Settings → Game Center) and have an internet connection. Matchmaking needs three players; at quiet times it can take longer. Inviting friends works independently of matchmaking.

Skatwerk waits a grace period for you to return before a game counts as abandoned. Reopen the app as soon as you are back online.

How do I restore my Pro purchase?

Settings → Pro → “Restore Purchases”. The purchase is tied to your Apple ID and applies on every device signed in with it.

Which devices are supported?

iPhone and iPad running iOS or iPadOS 18 or later.
