Classic nine men's morris
Placing, moving, flying. Nine pieces a side, a mill takes an opposing piece, repeated positions and repeated moves end in a draw. Nothing is simplified.
Nine men's morris, refined.
Mühlewerk is nine men's morris, built as quietly and cleanly as the game deserves. Against the computer at three levels, two people at one device, or online via Game Center. For iPhone and iPad, in German and English.
Placing, moving, flying. Nine pieces a side, a mill takes an opposing piece, repeated positions and repeated moves end in a draw. Nothing is simplified.
Easy, medium, hard. All three think on the device and play by the rules, even when that costs them.
Pass and play on the same board, taking turns. No sign-in, no connection, no account.
Apple handles matchmaking and invitations to Game Center friends. Both devices check every move themselves — a game only continues while the two agree.
Every finished game is kept, with mode, opponent, outcome and the full run of moves. Each one can be replayed move by move.
Every number is worked out from the history each time you open it. Delete a game and it leaves the record too.
A walkthrough covers every phase in real positions, alongside a rules page to look things up. Both can be skipped.
Each of the 24 points on the board has a name VoiceOver reads out. Text follows the system size through the accessibility sizes, and no piece is distinguished by colour alone.

Mühlewerk is coming to the App Store. This page will be updated when it arrives.
